"Taoist Alchemy:"
"China's Ancient Immortality Qigong"
with Kenneth Cohen

Taoism is China’s ancient philosophy of balance and harmony. Founded by mountain hermits and sages (the “Immortals”), it emphasizes simplicity, contentment, and unity with nature. Its ancient wisdom is an antidote to modern stress. Taoist qigong techniques—gentle exercises and powerful meditations-- are known to restore youthfulness and increase both the quality and length of life. These practices are the essence of Chinese preventive medicine, and scientific research strongly supports their benefits.
You will learn
- Taiji Ruler: simple movements that increase healing energy in the feet, back, abdomen and hands, to improve personal health create a radiant healing presence. You will learn the complete Taiji Ruler System, created by the Taoist hermit Chen Xiyi, who lived to age 118.
- Embryonic Respiration: Learn to breathe as smoothly, deeply, and innocently as a child. Breathing is the easiest path to a quiet, tranquil mind.
- Qigong Healing Imagery: to absorb qi from the sun, moon, and stars and balance the energy of the internal organs.
