Gray Bear warmly welcomes the return of Jan Campbell
Join us for this timeless retreat with one of the most inspirational yoga instructors we know! With the arrival this Fall of our forest’s golden hues, rustic red’s and vibrant displays of splendor serving as our background, Jan will guide us through a weekend dedicated to honing our bodies and harmonizing our mind with spirit. A long time friend of Gray Bear, Jan brings a true grace and presence to her teaching. Aretha will be assisting Jan, her dear friend and mentor, with the light touch and kindness she has become famous for wielding.
About The Instructors
Jan Campbell is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher, having received her
teacher's training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in San Francisco.
She has traveled to India on several occasions to study with the
Iyengars. Jan has taught yoga since 1986 and is the founder and
director of the Yoga Center in Nashville where she now teaches a full
schedule of classes each week. Jan, born in 1933, is an inspiration
to many exemplifying the many benefits of a regular yoga practice.
An enthusiastic and inspirational teacher, she encourages
her students to understand and go beyond their limitations. Her joy
and skills as a teacher come from her evolving personal work and
practice which reflect in her teaching and her life. Her classes
build strength as well as flexibility and focus on stress reduction
and deep relaxation techniques.
Aretha McKinney Blevins is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and the owner and director of 12South Yoga in Nashville, TN. Her teaching influences include: Dean Lerner, Mary Dunn, Patricia Walden, and Mary Obendorfer. In addition to her studies in the Iyengar tradition, Aretha also holds her Masters in Classical Studies from Vanderbilt.

Who Should Attend
Any level of yoga student is welcome for this weekend. A perfect
weekend for the first time/beginning yoga student or more ongoing
student. Intermediate students will also find classes which will
provide just the right amount of challenge.
Registration
Workshop discounted at $395 if paid in full by Oct 1st. Space is consciously limited. To reserve your place please register by sending your $100 non-refundable deposit to: Gray Bear Lodge, PO Box 682, Hohenwald, TN 38462. Price includes tuition, lodging, meals and full use of facilities. *Late registration fee increases to $435 with balance due upon arrival before retreat begins. Confirmation letter and additional information (including directions to Gray Bear) will be sent.
Please plan to arrive between 4-6pm on Friday. Dinner will be served
at 6:00pm followed by orientation and class. We will finish with
brunch and checkout on Sunday at 2:00pm.
