Watsu Center at Gray Bear
Sneak Peek!
During this record setting... heat radiating... BROILER of a summer, a faithful crew of Gray Bear staff (Thank You to Jason Todd, our fearless ring leader!) and brave volunteers set out to create a work of art. Armed with tempered spirits, power tools and LOTS of cool drinking water, we set out to build a cathedral. Cedar post and frame, hand milled planks, salvaged stained glass; our materials took form framing the heart of Graybear's Watsu pool. A pool dedicated to loosening the anchors which bind our very human spirits. It is our prayer that this building may support this worthy cause by holding the space for this freedom to flourish.
This crew also wishes to thank the cool Tennessee rivers. They were there in our time of need.
Oh, and one more note, we'll have plenty of new, fresh cedar chips lining our pathways....
